Film Review: Deadpool 2 (2018)

Following the the first Deadpool film, it continues the same dark humour which no other superhero film has ever gone. Since I'm not a massive fan of Superhero films I was incredibly skeptic about watching the first film due to it being labelled a 'superhero film' but I love the dark dark humour and also feel Reynolds portrays the character well as I also loved him in many other films such as The Hitman Bodyguard, The Proposal, Buried, The Voices and Amityville Horror (as you can tell I'm a fan).

Deadpool 2 is such a refreshing way to portray a Superhero, with continuous humour, even throughout the serious and very violet fight scenes, it makes everything a bit less serious and over dramatic, I was in stitches the whole time watching it, although there were a couple of times where I almost cried.

For one of my first dates with my current boyfriend, he didn't need to convince me to go see the second films as I loved the first one so much. We were both in stitches the whole way through but there was a particular scene that i was crying with laghter of how weird and unexpected the scene was. It was the scene where Reynolds is back at his apartment and has to re-grow his legs, the funny part was how abnormal they looked as they were baby legs on a grown mans body, the whole scene kind of took me by surprise.

I wont spoil too much more of the film but obviously i would highly recommend watching this film with friends and family, you wont be able to contain your laughter!
