He gets the idea to put on Christmas himself and kidnaps Santa Clause, but does he manage to pull off Christmas?

- A slasher film which features a masked serial killer who taunts a small American town with mysterious phone calls but targets Sydney, who's mother was murdered the previous year, throughout the film you're constantly wondering which character has the motive to target her.

- A unappreciated caretaker of a school dies and begins to haunt students dreams, these become so realistic that if they fall asleep, they could end up dead.
4. Friday the 13th (1980)

- There are spooky tales about an urban legend who haunts an american summer camp, no one believes the tales until they discover its not a myth and it too late.
5. The Sixth Sense (1999)
Director: M. Night Shyamalan
- A psychologist (Bruce Willis) tries to figure out a young boys supernatural talents, he soon discovers he has the ability to see people living in the afterlife who have unresolved problems from when they were alive, however the psychologist is in for an unsettling discovery.
6. Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Director: Edgar Wright
- The first film out of the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost 'Cornetto Trilogy' is a hilarious spin off to Dawn of the Dead (2004), the film is about two regular guys living in the outskirts of London who go through the journey of trying to survive a zombie apocalypse by hiding out at their favourite pub, The Winchester.
7. The Exorcist (1973)

- A young teenager acting odd, speaking tongue her mum decides to turn to the church to ask for guidance, they soon discover the daughter is possessed by the devil which leads them to have no other option but to turn to an exorcist to help.
8. The shining (1980)
Director: Stanley Kubrick
- A family take on the job of looking after a hotel during the winter season, isolated from the outside world they begin to learn the dark side of the hotel due to it being built on an indian burial ground.
9. The Strangers (2008)
Director: Bryan Bertino
- Based on a true story, a couple are expecting to have a relaxing weekend at a family vacation home, however throughout the night are taunted by three masked 'strangers' which leaves the couple fighting for their survival.
10. Lights Out
Director: David Sandberg
- Lights Out focus on a common fear everyone has, the dark, it's a natural fear to have as no one knows what's lurking in the dark, the fear of the unknown.
